Vacation!!!

We enjoyed a glorious four days away at the beach...playing, eating, getting wet, finding shells, eating some more, celebrating a cousin's 80th birthday and enjoying a family reunion. It was Timi and Kainoa's first trip that far north and our first plane trip as a family since our loooonnnnnggggg ride home from Taiwan...and we all did pretty well! We had a wonderful time...but 4 days just wasn't enough!

More Berries....

A friend shared this little find with us.

We found the most delicious thornless 'grape' blackberries.

As usual, Kainoa had a great time picking and eating.

He's become quite the efficient berry finder and

he's nice and close to ground to find the sweet plump ones!

A lot of work to find these sweet little gems....but, sooooooo worth the effort!

Sleep, please.

If I could order it, I would. But, I can't.

I would truly give anything to be inside my little guys head these last few days (more, like, say 10) I might be able to help him. But for some mysterious reason, sleep has not come easy nor for very long recently. I'm tired. Daddy's tired. And, Kainoa's got to be tired.

Oh I miss this.....
