Our trip to the farm

Actually it's our weekly trip to the farm. Every Wednesday we head up the road to the Peabody Ranch and visit Del Rio Botanicals to pick up a box of fresh organic fruit, vegetables and herbs. Every week it's a surprise and Suzanne gives us hints for how to use the goodies. But, all this goodness is not why Kainoa loves to go...he gets to pet Daisy, the goat, he gets to cluck with the chickens and even pick a VERY fresh egg for his breakfast on Thursday. Today, we saw the bunnies for the first time. They were beautful and looked sooo soft and fluffy.

Isn't this wisteria beautiful...if they'd only invent "smell-a-blog"

then I could share with you the heavenly scent!

Here's the farm....everything is so luscious and green.

A fresh chicken egg (still with the straw on it from the roost)

and a few speckled quail eggs.
